An AR50 from the UK

From Aaron Threlfall

Nice to see the next generation keeping them on the road!

A pair a cool little small cc buzzbombs!

Thanks to Mark Booth

 #1 1978 Garelli SSXL:
OK So before you think OH NO Hell NO Not another Moped Guy just read on.  I got this for free from my neighbor and I wanted to see just what I could do on my own.  My Suzuki Street Mod took a lot of time and cash and the help of some very talented people.  I wanted a bike to do as much as I could on my own.  So back to the bike.  I took this from a pile of parts to a bike that hit 58 mph with my son on it.  This bike was so much fun and I learned how to do so much to get it to 58 mph.  I never did the paint as I left that for the new owner.  The best part of this bike is to get going @ 50 and as you pass other cars you start to peddle!  I attached a before and an after of this one.

#2 1969 Suzuki AS50:
OMG He is a moped guy!  I bet this is what you are thinking right now.  As long as you keep reading I promiss that it will get better.  I am not a Moped guy, I just loved this bike!  I mean really!  It took me to 55 mph and it was so much fun blasting around town on this bike!  I pretended I was at the GP as I blasted past traffic.  You really needed to rev the piss out of this to get it to move but once you did it was amazing!  I hated to sell it but I had to.  I attached 1 picture of this.

An amazing bike I've never heard of... An Ace Polini tuned V2 Simson.

Wow.... just plain freaking WOW!  I've never even heard of this bike.  what an amazing little machine!

From Hagen Schroot:
Hello, here are some pictures and videos from an Simson S51 V2 with 50HP. The Simson S51 is 50ccm motocycle with 3,6 HP stock bulid in East Germany in 1980`s. This Simson is the personal ride from an famous exhaust manufacturer for the Simson scene. At the moment is only 120km/h fast, because of the brakes , but lift up the front in 5tgh gear!

Yamaha BW 80's. A pair of Sam Simmons Specials.

Sam Simmons sends in this pair of beauties.

He Writes:
Hi Steve,
Hope you're doing well. Excellent ( new) site (as usual!!). I recently
redid a couple of Yamaha BW-80's,so here are a few pictures for you...
Surprisingly, both BW's were still in the hands of their original
owners, one in MO,the other in IL.
Both were in good overall condition, but pretty tired in the 'Engine Dept'
. I 'stretched' the suspension on mine, while my wife's is stock. Once the
exhaust  and intake systems are de-restricted,carb's rejetted, these
little shits  fly...almost 50 mph.

They're great little bikes for  swap meet transportation, and perfect for

inexperienced trail riders.

Best Regards,

Sam Simons

Holy Smokes! 50mph on these must be a hoot!

I like the Kenny Roberts colors!

Sitting Pretty!  Some nice clearance there!

How to raise em up!

Very Nice work!

Hello From Vietnam! A Rare Rumi Scooter.

Mark Brooks Writes in:

Hi 2 stroke biker blog, I love the site and pop by most weeks for a look. Over here in Vietnam we don't have so many interesting bikes, however there are a lot of vintage scooters. Last weekend on one of our scooter runs I saw this Rumi. They are as rare as hens teeth so to see one over here was a real treat. I hope you like it.
Cheers, Mark

Hey even though it's not a dedicated scooter blog I love interesting scooters. Cool Ride.
